You are invited to join an exclusive group from around the world in South Beach- in order to explore our passion for changing the world for GOOD.
A plethora of models will lead by example as they use their star power to support social entrepreneurship to create positive change!
Our near-term goal is to build a worldwide network of models, celebrities, entertainers, athletes and just GOOD PEOPLE. Nothing is more fulfilling or makes more sense for your life than participating in changing the world for GOOD. We are truly committed to make a difference.
The purpose of this global event for Models 4 Sustainability will be to connect on a deeper level and explore how the famous, reputable, and upstanding can explore all forms of sustainability: social, financial and environmental both in the US and around the world.
Flagler Monument Island
A Sustainability Model for Biscayne Bay Islands
M4S event will launch a new project to help restore Flagler Monument Island as an ecological, educational, recreational and historical resource for Miami Beach. Just off the Venetian causeway, Monument Island has been greatly neglected – few residents or tourists are even aware of its existence. Yet the island plays an important role in the bay ecology while representing an architectural tribute to the founding of Miami.
Sustainatopia heralds a new stage of development by building community awareness and raising funds to implement the vision of a Monument Island Conservancy Plan.
10 PM
A $25K check will be presented to the City of Miami Beach towards the implementation of the Monument Island Park Master Plan.
Proceeds from the event benefit ECOMB and Urban GreenWorks – two local environmental organizations working to protect the island for present and future generations. And while the Conservancy Plan initially targets Monument Island, we see this as a true Model for Sustainability in the restoration and management of all Biscayne Bay’s uninhabited islands.
Guests will take part in
Dirty Sugar’s Interactive Photography Experience
Photos can be purchased for $20 with 100% of the proceeds to benefit ECOMB and Urban GreenWorks.
