ECOMB and Surfrider Foundation to conduct beach cleanup Feb 2 2002 at South Beach

The South Florida chapter of the Surfrider Foundation and ECOMB (Environmental Coalition of Miami Beach) will be conducting a beach cleanup Saturday February 2, 2002. The event will take place from 9:00 -11:00 am, and will commence at the eastern end of 2nd St and Ocean Drive in Miami Beach.
Surfrider and E-COMB invite the local community and organizations to join us in this cleanup event. Refreshments will be served and students may use this cleanup towards as volunteer hours. Prizes will also be rewarded in a variety of categories including: most garbage collected and most cigarette butts collected.
